Born in Northern Michigan, raised in Ohio ~ Carina Furr knows snow! Carina's dad was in the military and her mom stayed at home to raise their three girls. There was plenty of time for snowball fights, sled rides, and building snowmen. However, even as a young child Carina knew cold weather was not for her. She always dreamt of living in a warm place...
Carina went on vacations with her parents, sisters, and grandparents to the Myrtle Beach area while she was growing up. She loved the beach and warm weather, to her it felt like home. Little did Carina know that several years later she would be living here. After spending two years at snowy Ohio University, Carina decided to make her move to sunny South Carolina not knowing a single person here.
Looking to finish her college education and be in a warmer climate, she decided to attend Coastal Carolina University. It was the perfect match for her! She loved the small school atmosphere and the beach environment. Her first year here she was laying out with friends at the beach in December studying for Finals. She definitely could not do that in Ohio!
Carina's determination to be in a warmer state also carries through to her determination and perseverance when dealing with her clients.
Carina met her husband, a local resident and law enforcement agent, years ago. They are happily married and living in Murrells Inlet. Carina has three cats, Charlie, Max, and Simon, that keep her busy with their playtime. Because of her love of all animals, Carina donates a percentage of each and every Real Estate commission that she earns to the local Humane Society.
During her time here she has picked up a little bit of that Southern twang', much to her family's amusement. However, Carina has really spent her time dedicated to her Real Estate career and helping Buyers and Sellers with their Real Estate needs.
